Piezowave Therapy

Piezowave Therapy Treatment

PiezoWave therapy is a highly effective, non-invasive treatment designed to reduce pain and promote healing in the musculoskeletal system. It is often used as an alternative to surgery, injections, or medications. The therapy uses targeted acoustic sound waves—not electrical shocks—that travel through the tissue to reach injured areas. These mechanical pulses help stimulate circulation, break up scar tissue, and activate the body's natural healing process.

PiezoWave, also known as shockwave therapy, works by delivering thousands of precisely targeted sound wave pulses into muscles, fascia, and connective tissue beneath the skin. The treatment stimulates blood flow, reduces inflammation, and encourages the body to repair damaged tissue. Because the device can be adjusted for both depth and intensity, it is able to treat tissues that may be too deep for traditional manual therapies.

Treatments are quick and convenient, typically lasting 10–20 minutes. Most patients receive one to two treatments per week, and many experience improvement after three to five sessions, although some acute conditions may respond after just one treatment. PiezoWave therapy is commonly used to help with conditions such as plantar fasciitis (FDA approved), headaches, neck pain, whiplash, tech neck, hip pain, arthritis-related inflammation, tennis elbow, and golfer's elbow. Patients dealing with chronic injuries or pain that has not responded to other treatments may be great candidates for this therapy.
